FTA want drivers to be better educated about lorries.

December 9th, 2009

The Freight Transport Association (FTA) has called on the Driving Standards Association (DSA) to ensure that all drivers are better educated about sharing the road with LGVs.

They claim that most motorists are unaware of things like how long a lorry takes to stop or how far behind it they need to be in order for the driver to be able to see them in the mirror.
